Custom Gallery Panels

The following sample photos showcase the construction of custom created gallery panels. First, we construct each panel with a styrofoam core. Styrofoam enables a client to attach art directly onto a board with either pins or small studded nails. Each board is then covered with rough paper. With rough paper as a cover, the removal of a pin or nail barely leave a visible mark. The Poles that we use in this setup, they are all fully adjustable and can accommodate a ceiling height of 8-15 feet. With adjustable poles, lightweight panels, and an attachment method that takes only mere seconds, this is an ideal solution for floor plans that continually change over time.

Custom Counter Display Unit

This custom counter design is first created visually in 3d. Once approved, we construct the unit according to the 3d specs. The top board consists of finished wood and plywood secured together to give the counter-top extra thickness. We then run a wooden veneer edging along the rims of the counter-top, and when complete, stain and varnish are applied for a solid looking finish. After everything is dry and assembled, the finished display unit fits perfectly into place.

Outdoor Gallery Panels

Here, we create gallery panels for an outdoor exhibit at Second Cup du Parc. First, we build each panel with a thin base board of Styrofoam. Next, we wrap each board in black cloth (Why cloth? Because when artists insert or remove pins, no marks shall remain). To complete each panel, we then take pre-cut wood and secure each piece into place. Once everything is done, we transport the panels to the site and professionally mount everything into place. Finally, we mount art on all the panels and a stunning outdoor gallery display is complete.

Wooden Community Board

Custom Cork Community Board

Herein, we create a wooden community board for McGill Ghetto’s urban cafeteria – Milton B. In order to visualize this concept, we create an initial sketch in Photoshop. Once management approves the size and general look of the board, we take the design and begin its construction. We use specialty wood, along with varnish, paint, a cork board and carpentry glue. When everything is complete, we port everything over and mount the board on location. As a result, a stunning board now displays jobs, adverts, and cultural events from within the local area.

Custom Wooden Counter Display Units

The following are two display units that we create for Milton B, an urban cafeteria located in the McGill Ghetto community. To begin, we create a 3d design in 3ds Max. Once management approves the design, we purchase materials and begin its construction. In this particular project, we use slim wood pieces, along with white base boards, varnish, paint, and carpentry glue.
