A large kitchen drawer came off its track that had fallen apart. Fred fixed that and fixed the drawer knob that had been loose for 20 years. Now the drawer works better than it ever has. While he was there, I asked about a door that would not latch shut for at least a decade. Now it works! I feel great peace-of-mind knowing I can call Handyman and Designs.

After having a terrible experience with another electrician, I found handyman and designs on the web. The experience with handyman and designs was a complete breath of fresh air after the first guy. He was curtious, professional and did a great job on lighting installations I needed. I would suggest using this company as opposed to Kajiji as the first electrician found on kajiji was a terrible experience. Didn't finish the job and required that I finish the work that was left him and he charged more then what he had quoted. Pricing was also fair and a lot less then quoted from others.

Very satisfied with Fred's work; he is meticulous, resourceful, courteous and has a great assembly of tools with him.

I came across Fred( Handyman Designs dot com) through a Google search and contacted him to have an A/C installed. He promised that he would come by 10:30 am on 21st June and truly he lived up-to his word. He was at my place at 10:30 am sharp. Very soft spoken.Started his work by fitting the A/C into the wall but realised that the A/C is larger than the wall.He then packed the whole unit himself and then we drove back to Home Depot and swapped for a one that would fit. He fixed the A/C as requested. The outcome was as desired. The whole process should have taken just 1 hour or so but due to my mistake, he spent almost 4 hours fixing the issue without a noise or frustration or complaint about how inconvenient it was etc.,Despite all of the above inconveniences faced, he stuck to the price that we discussed and did not charge me more. I offered extra and he flatly refused. He said "no tips". I am surprised that there are a few people who value their words and Fred is one among them.I would definitely hire him again for any electrical job and recommend him without an iota of doubt.
