I came across Fred( Handyman Designs dot com) through a Google search and contacted him to have an A/C installed. He promised that he would come by 10:30 am on 21st June and truly he lived up-to his word. He was at my place at 10:30 am sharp. Very soft spoken.Started his work by fitting the A/C into the wall but realised that the A/C is larger than the wall.He then packed the whole unit himself and then we drove back to Home Depot and swapped for a one that would fit. He fixed the A/C as requested. The outcome was as desired. The whole process should have taken just 1 hour or so but due to my mistake, he spent almost 4 hours fixing the issue without a noise or frustration or complaint about how inconvenient it was etc.,Despite all of the above inconveniences faced, he stuck to the price that we discussed and did not charge me more. I offered extra and he flatly refused. He said "no tips". I am surprised that there are a few people who value their words and Fred is one among them.I would definitely hire him again for any electrical job and recommend him without an iota of doubt.

My experience can only be described as perfect. On time, professional, job well done, quick to respond. I was going to be in town for a few days and needed to get things done at my parents house. Everything was handled flawlessly. Highly recommended. Thank you!

After having a terrible experience with another electrician, I found handyman and designs on the web. The experience with handyman and designs was a complete breath of fresh air after the first guy. He was curtious, professional and did a great job on lighting installations I needed. I would suggest using this company as opposed to Kajiji as the first electrician found on kajiji was a terrible experience. Didn't finish the job and required that I finish the work that was left him and he charged more then what he had quoted. Pricing was also fair and a lot less then quoted from others.

We recently had a commercial water meter installed, which left a large hole in what had been a nicely-finished living room wall. We hired Handyman and Designs to repair this wall and do a couple of other small jobs, and it was a great experience. Fred comes up with smart solutions and executes his work with care and attention to detail. He is very pleasant to deal with and respectful of the space. Handyman and Designs offers great value - we will call them again for future repairs and recommend them highly.

Fred installed 2 window ACs, mounted curtains, closet rods, and a picture frame. He also filled up some holes in the walls and reattached missing furniture legs. Fred was very professional, and knowledgeable the entire time. I am extremely happy with the quality of work. I highly recommend using their services.
