Milton B – General Maintenance & Improvements

In this project, we conduct general maintenance for McGill’s urban cafeteria, Milton B. After we discuss areas that need to be repaired, we start by setting up thermostat guards, custom created via dollar store supplies. Once installed on location, the guards prevent clients from adjusting the building’s heat according to personal desires.

Next, we fix holes in a wall with plaster for a seamless finish and we add metal foot guards to washroom doors to protect the base of the doors from damage.

In the work area, we find water damage along the edges of Milton B’s interior work cabinets. To fix the edges, we install plastic foot guards to make the doors sturdier and to prevent further wear. Last but not least, we install custom-ordered window doors to a pastry showcase unit to help preserve pastries for the duration of each day.
